Who We Are
California High School's Science Alliance Club is one of the four branches of the district-wide organization and is partnered with the San Ramon Valley Education Foundation (SRVEF) who's goal is to nurture 5th graders at a young age so that they may be introduced and equipped with the necessary tools required for a STEM-related career. Utilizing a 1:1 buddy-mentor system, each 5th grader in our program receives personal guidance from their high-school mentor, who is qualified due to our club's rigorous screening from applications, to reach and excel in their potential by working on a year-round science experiment that will be presented at the district-wide fair at one of the high schools. The branch at California High School boasts a team of 12 officers and 1 club advisor, Mrs. Darroch, to ensure all the mentors, buddies, and buddies' parents experience the smoothest and most amazing experience in terms of communications, resources, and much more not only at each in-person monthly meeting but also outside through emails as well.
